Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using Autodesk Inventor for 3D modeling and drafting, as well as a strong background in packaging equipment design or similar industrial machinery. This role will be integral in the design, development, and implementation of complex mechanical systems that meet customer specifications and manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor
  • Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and bill of materials (BOMs)
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, electrical, controls, and project management
  • Modify and improve existing equipment designs for performance, cost, or manufacturability
  • Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation
  • Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of equipment
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in design and engineering processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in packaging machinery or industrial automation
  • Experience with CAD systems, such as Inventor
  • Familiarity with pneumatic systems, servo systems, and manufacturing processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
