We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Lathe Machinist. This position is responsible for the daily setup, operation, and programming of a Haas CNC lathe.  You will also assist other CNC operators with any of their daily duties including area housekeeping, maintenance work, and material staging. 

Lathe Machinist Responsibilities:

• Setup/program/operate Haas CNC lathe.  

• Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. 

• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, cutting equipment, and forklifts (certification provided) Receipt of raw materials.  

• Make recommendations to engineering on time/cost savings initiatives with respect to machined components.  

• Ability to interpret prints and program parts from provided information. 

• Ability to read and use measuring tools including tape measure, caliper, micrometers, etc. 

• Maintain a clean and organized area. 

• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. 

Qualifikationen:

• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and cutting equipment safely. 

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately. 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. 

• CNC Technician degree or in lieu of degree; applicable work experience as a machinist   

• Problem-solving skills  

• Mechanical and Technical Skills  

• An understanding of G/M Codes and Haas VPS would be a key asset.
